SILENCE THE VIOLENCE
Make sure you join us April 28, 2018!
RIVERVIEW COMMUNITY CENTER
The Justice for Cameron CAMpaign (J4CC) is the namesake campaign created as a result of the unfortunate and untimely death of Cameron Selmon. Cameron was a bright, vibrant 19-year old who had dreams of becoming a successful dentist. Those dreams were extinguished when Cameron’s life was senselessly cut short by the hands of a gunman on October 22, 2015, on the campus of Tennessee State University. Our lives are forever changed by the loss of Cameron, but we must continue forward in order to complete our mission. That mission is advocacy for families and the communities who have lost loved ones to gun violence.
Our mission is not political, but rather it is social. Our campaign promotes education, information and awareness. In conjunction with our partner organizations, Justice For Cameron Inc, will present the 3rd Annual “Silence The Violence” Rally on Saturday, April 28, 2018, at Riverview Community Center, 1891 Kansas Street, Memphis, TN 38109. The event will begin promptly at 1:00. This anti-violence rally will feature speakers, peace advocates, artists, and youth organizations from across our city, rallying against gun violence.
We hope to see you there!
